Summary:

RTL Networks is seeking a Data Analyst in Dahlgren, VA. The Data Analyst role is part of a business intelligence and data warehouse team tasked with providing data analysis, data design, systems development, training and customer support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Systems development activities include data table/structure design, data acquisition, system specifications, data validation and documentation.
• Data Analyst support will also include development of data interface specifications, on-line query and report specifications, database load specifications, and data validation specifications.
• Customer support, including interfacing with customers, trouble shooting, product review and analysis and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

• Five 5+ or more years of experience.
• High School Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• The ability to apply analytical skills relating to database management and development knowledge of relational database management systems and data warehousing.
• Experience using Cognos Tool Suite to create reports and dashboards.
• Skill in writing and analyzing structured query language (SQL) queries.
• Experience and knowledge in mathematical reasoning.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing for required customer support and requirements gathering and validation.
• Knowledge of analytical tools and evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of government accounting (highly desired: DOD Accounting).

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
