Position Title: DoD Accountant

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Summary:

RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a fully remote DoD Accountant to join our team supporting our Navy Client.

Primary Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities of the DoD Accountant include, but are not limited to:

• Experienced in creating Unanet Analytics reports.
• Prioritize compliance with GAAP, IRS, DoD Contracts, DCAA, etc.
• Superb organizational skills (will be managing extensive and complex government billing details, with a high level of accuracy and timeliness required.)
• High level utilization of excel formulas to automate processes when possible.
• Excellent communication skills: ask questions when needed, communicate imperative information in a timely manner, get second opinions. Business professional communications including correct grammar and spelling with internal and external contacts, as well as the ability to explain work both verbally and in writing.
• Willing and able to learn new systems and processes and identify opportunities to streamline.
• Affinity for root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ownership attitude.

Qualifications:

• US Citizen.
• Remote work if CONUS based.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.
